What Is a Crawl?
A bar crawl is a social event where a group of people visit multiple bars or clubs in a single night, usually following a planned route or schedule. It’s designed to be a fun, group-oriented way to explore nightlife — often with drink specials, themed outfits (like matching shirts), and other deals.
At college campuses bar crawls are popular during Welcome Week or other big weekends such as St. Pattys day and halloween. Students will often participate by purchasing matching shirts to which can then be signed while checking off the bars you go to on the back.
Think of it as a way to meet people, kick off the semester, and experience the best spots in the campus bar scene… all in one night.
